Let’s say NO to gender discrimination, harassment, and sexual violence!
#NOT ME
it is a project coordinated by the association “Asociatia Demetrus,” in which ELA is involved as a partner.
#Not me aims to enhance knowledge, skills, strategies, and attitudes to prevent gender-based discrimination, sexual harassment, and abuse in various contexts.
The project will provide youth workers and trainers with the skills, abilities, and information on how to assist and support young people in the prevention of gender discrimination, harassment, and sexual abuse.
It will also train workers about these types of violence in the workplace, showing them what actions can be taken to prevent them and reduce their costs.
The project results are quite innovative, current, and easily accessible to young people, youth workers, and employees throughout Europe.

Erasmus Learning Academy (Italy).
Project Outcomes
To achieve the main objective of the project, the partnership will create and develop 4 resources specifically designed for youth workers, counselors, trainers, mentors, volunteers, and young people aged between 18 and 30:
Analysis Algorithm for Monitoring Sexual Harassment
A tool that helps young people identify the risk level, behaviors, and beliefs associated with the issue of sexual harassment in all its forms (verbal, physical, visual, and psychological). It also helps to identify the actions to take in order to prevent sexual harassment, in line with the level of harassment that results from the assessment.

Youth Training Package “How to Say NO!”
The training package includes a curriculum, training materials, and methodology designed to ensure consistent training. Its beneficiaries are youth workers, trainers, consultants, mentors, and volunteers working with young people (aged 18 to 30) to help them prevent and address gender discrimination, harassment, and sexual assaults.
Online Course: “Sexual Harassment in the Workplace”
An online course, five hours long, structured into modules, specifically designed for young employees aged between 18 and 30. The course aims to change the attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors of young employees, while also seeking efficient ways to ensure that being sexually harassed is not seen or accepted as normal. Additionally, it teaches how to respond appropriately in order to prevent such incidents from occurring through proactive actions.

“Guidelines for Preventing Sexual Harassment in the Workplace”
Guidelines for mentors and employers who deal daily with young employees to make them aware of their responsibilities, as well as to inform them about the measures they can take to discourage sexual harassment in the workplace. The guidelines will provide information on how to create a supportive work environment and how to prevent sexual abuse in workplace settings across different cultural backgrounds.

Ending NOTME
We are excited to share the successful conclusion of our NOT ME project!
Both in-person and virtual multiplier events saw the participation of 50 attendees in person and 20 virtually, creating a powerful collective impact. These events served as opportunities to explore Erasmus possibilities, present our NOT ME project, and celebrate the impactful results in preventing harassment and discrimination.
We sincerely hope that the extraordinary outcomes we achieved will contribute to promoting respect, understanding, and equality.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants, partners, and supporters. Your dedication and commitment have been the driving force behind our success.
Although the formal project is coming to an end, the impact will continue. We carry forward the lessons learned, the connections made, and the spirit of unity.

Last TPM: Iasi!
In the heart of August, a time often associated with summer getaways, the NOTME team gathered in the sunny city of Iasi, Romania, for the final TPM. This was a crucial moment for defining the final stages of our project. On the 16th, partners focused on the upcoming Multiplier events scheduled for this fall. These events will take place at all partner locations (Iasi, Prague, Wismar, Klaipeda, and Bologna) and will serve as platforms to spread the fruits of our collective work over the past two years, with the aim of reaching both young people and the stakeholders and trainers involved. Soon, all project results will be accessible on the official website, in six different languages.
Stay tuned for upcoming updates on the Multiplier events and the results of our project!

Our 4th TPM in Prague
On June 20th and 21st, 2023, the NOTME team gathered in sunny Prague for one of the final TPMs of our NOTME project! This time, we were hosted by our Czech partners from GENDER STUDIES: a non-profit, non-governmental organization. GS is an information, education, and counseling center focused on gender equality and the position of men and women in society.
And that’s not all… they proudly manage a library that houses a variety of publications and materials related to feminism, gender studies, and the rights of both women and men. It was in this very library that our meeting took place, surrounded by an enormous collection of books on the very topic of our project. ❤️
NOTME is nearing its end, and we couldn’t be more proud of what we are accomplishing!

Workshop “Train the trainer” in Italy
Sexual harassment is a delicate subject, if not even a taboo, and it is rarely addressed in the training and education of young people. For this reason, as part of our #NOTME project, we developed the “Train the Trainer” workshop “How to Say No! Prevent Gender Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, and Sexual Assault!”: an innovative training that offered participants not only the skills and knowledge on how to help young people prevent gender inequalities, sexual harassment, or assault, but also provided new tools and methods to reach young people, lead interactive discussions, support self-reflection, and create the safe and positive environment necessary when addressing such a sensitive topic.
20 participants from all 5 partner countries joined the workshop, held in Bologna on March 6th, 7th, and 8th, where they benefited from peer learning and experience exchange in a multicultural and multilingual environment.

Our TPM in Wismar
Our 2023 started with a trip to the cold Wismar, in the north of Germany, where all the NOTME partners gathered for the 3rd TPM of our project, hosted by @hochschule_wismar.
At the halfway point of our project, we analyzed the results achieved so far:
– Our evaluation algorithm for measuring sexual harassment and assault.
– Our youth training package, which includes non-formal activities aimed at preventing gender discrimination, harassment, and sexual assault.
Two more results are still to come, and this meeting was the perfect opportunity to discuss them and plan the next steps.
Next stop: Bologna!

We are pleased to announce that the first two results of the project are finally online!

First TPM in Klaipeda
On June 23, 2022, after months of online meetings, the #NOTME team finally gathered in person in Klaipeda (Lithuania) for the first TPM of the project.
It was a real pleasure to discuss and brainstorm together about the next steps of our project. We are ready and excited to achieve the first results and share them with you!
First Online Meeting
On January 7, 2022, the first meeting took place, unfortunately via the Google Meet platform. The partners had the opportunity to introduce themselves. Asociatia Demetrus provided an overview of the project, assigning tasks to each partner. The organization of the upcoming kick-off meeting, also to be held online on February 9, was discussed as well.
